So, after last week, I decided to pursue the same theme of water and abstraction. The exception in the first picture of a beautiful woman. While I talked at some length with her, she didn't want to look directly at the camera. Oh well, she is still lovely.
Your photos are beautiful! I especially like the first four of water and abstraction. They look like oil paintings.
ReplyDeleteI do not usually like abstract shots without an anchor of reality but these are stunning , artworks in themselves
ReplyDeleteI remember you getting the portrait, it's a great result. Also great color on the water abstracts
ReplyDeleteI am glad she did not look to the camera--she looks so beautiful, authentic and dignified the way you capture it. Perhaps I am reacting to the excessive use of full-front selfies with mechanic smiles. This image is wonderful. Among the abstracts I like the last one -- image #8, the green with the dark brown works well for me.
ReplyDeleteThe colorful water photos are very engaging, as is the lady with the marcelled hair.
ReplyDeleteShe has got it going on! Are those called Marcel waves? Old / new blend. 8 is wild, cosmic, you now have more to add to this purely abstract, painterly series you've been building this Mall crawling, which is interesting, ironic to find your art amidst so much other art.
