Brughers de Calaix by Rodin

Hello! Some work in progress. Think I may want to have one with a more blurred background and then a few of the detail faces, arms, hands, legs and so on.
I also think this work has no focal point. Each of the six men are all magnificent and equally important. In this work, perhaps the story is everything so there is no need for focal point?

  1. Rosalinda--These are good. I like #2 best--the agony of the forward figure and the compassion of the one looking at him. I would probably crop it tighter--get rid of the trees at the top of the image. Maybe find a way in PS to de-emphasize the figure on the left. I also really like #4--much more direct than #5. Nice job.

  2. Thank you! Excellent points. I will try to get what you suggest on camera tomorrow. Ambitious, right? :-)

  3. These are great. I especially like number 3. I took a few of the Rodin also, but there is far too much light in the background in my photos. You did well to get the dark figures and background light nicely balanced. Sweet!
