First, the images from 10:30am onwards.
EARLY SHOOTING: It was amazing the changes in light, colors, ambiance, everything changed so quickly. My images are soft but illustrate the rapid and dramatic changes.
A few minutes before 7am
And 30 minutes later with more clouds, more light, higher temperature, more humidity, everything changed so much.
Last but not least, a piece of history with huge impact on productivity, growth, wages and standards of living in the US. Many think we will note experience anything like it again: the railways in 1876.
Enjoy the weekend!
Both shots of the Washington monument are good, the varied light shows a different emotion
ReplyDeleteLove all the photos - especially the texture in the grass photos.
ReplyDeleteLove your photos, especially the tall grasses and reflections in the reflecting pool.
ReplyDeleteClassic! I so didn't expect to see subjects quite like the first 3. 1 is especially unexpected and lovely, bit mysterious in feeling, composition intrigues. Yes, indeed, the light was fine, enough color to be interesting but oh so soft, just right for photo dynamic range it seems.
