Excellent reflection images! Amazing what you were able to do under the harsh sun light. The images of the Vietnam memorial are really amazing with people looking for the names of loved ones and leaving flags in remembrance. Images # 6 and #8 are great abstract images-- the texture and simplicity of lines in #6 are fantastic; and the blurred items with the reflections of light in #8 make the image very beautiful. Image #1 and #5 of the outside of the African-American Museum are very different perspectives: I love #5 with the split real and reflection; and #1 reflects the huge size of this building capturing human elements which I like very much. I love the image of the tree trucks #7 with the contrast of colors and textures. Both images of the Washington Monument are awesome: #2 shows a very lively scene with the reflection of the monument, someone taking a picture, tents, and more people in the background and yet there is so much empty space, it is great! And #4 with two images stacked on each other and little lights around the the monument, very dramatic. Image #9 with the reflection of bike stations works well with the reflection over texture of the sidewalk. My favorite is image #3: elegant simplicity, geometric angles, and people ...very beautiful image.
Love your photos of the NMAAHC and Vietnam Memorial! I especially like the first photo of the underside of the building and its reflection. It looks like the hull of a ship. I love the reflections in the Vietnam Memorial. That says it all.
A good day at the Mall, including the Wall. What can be discovered within a short walk is astonishing, really. I like the plants pictures, water, including w/ Leslie shooting in that space, reflection with old building. I did not know, until your dramatic shot, that the filigree grille is separate at that corner from the rising roof and angled pillar. As far as I'm concerned, there is a lot to like about his building and I have only seen one exterior side so far. Your images reveal something of the way it plays with its surroundings, and some of its design dynamic and subtlety.
