National Arboretum

I found the Kalanchoe to be especially inspiring.





As were the Capitol Columns.




And so many other features of the Arboretum.  









Always inspired by the way that nature gives us colors via leaves, bark, berries and seeds; not just flowers.

    Hi Virginia, I love your peaceful and inspirational photos of the Kalanchoe and of the Columns set against the reflecting pool with the young family in the middle (#6). The hard working photographers trying to capture the essence of the massive birch in #11 are two good looking gals, if I do say so myself, and the photo tells a nice story. Great job using a shallow DOF to capture the berries in #12. Beautiful! That was a small, narrow area to photograph and one I didn't attempt. Nice work!

    I missed this one, but your photos are an inspiration to get there, especially the reflecting pool and blackberries.
